Indian-American political leaders, contesting Congressional elections, are outraged at the remarks of "legitimate rape" by a United States lawmaker, which President Barack Obama had termed as offensive.
A resolution was introduced in the US House of Representatives on Monday calling on the Indian government to take all necessary steps to restrict the reach and resources of "radical religious elements" that cause violence periodically, including the incitement of violence against minorities.
